Sectors today
Up / down counts each share. Median move = the middle share's change, which a few big movers cannot distort. Click a heading to sort.
Busiest shares today
What the columns mean
Sorted by turnover. vs 7-day = today's turnover ÷ its own average over the last 7 sessions —
above 1.0 means busier than usual for that share, not busier than other shares.
VWAP is the volume-weighted average price: what the average share actually traded at, not the last tick.

Entry & execution rules — general practice, not this model's own finding
Read this first: these are standard technical-analysis habits,
not something tested on this project's data. Everything built and tested on
this dashboard (the signal, the book, the 112 tests) was measured against a
13% hurdle and failed at every horizon tried — see Track record. The rules
below exist for reference, independent of that result, and are not endorsed
by it.
Why the DSE's settlement timing matters
DSE trades settle T+2 — two trading days after a buy before it can be sold. That means a loss cannot be cut the same day it happens. The entry has to be strong before buying, not fixed afterward.
Entry — wait for confirmation, not the first move
- A daily candle closing cleanly above a clear resistance level, or
- Price pulling back to the 20 EMA on rising volume and holding there
Exit — a stop-loss wide enough to survive normal noise
Because of the 2-day settlement wait, a tight 1–2% stop-loss often gets triggered by an ordinary daily swing before there is any chance to react. Placed too tight, the stop does the losing, not the trade. Instead: place it below the most recent swing low, or below the 20 EMA — whichever sits closer to the entry price.
Taking profit
- Aim for the next real resistance level, not a fixed percentage target
- If a stock is running hard — consecutive upper-circuit days — trail the stop up to the previous day's closing price instead of holding a fixed target

Does the ranking carry real odds?
Share of each predicted decile that beat the day's middle stock, measured out of sample on 2020–2026. Decile 10 is the model's best.

Last 30 days
Daily index as dots, 7-day average as the line, 90% band shaded. Hollow dots are thin days (few headlines).
What moved the mood?
Each story's share of the day's weight × its mood, on the index scale.
